Libertarian Party of Northampton County
Organizational Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, September 21, 2011

PRESENT: Dylan Duraes, Patrick R. Killy & Dr. Tom Stevens     

Dr. Tom Stevens called the Organizational Meeting to order at 10:06 p.m.

MOTION: to appoint Dr. Tom Stevens as Chairman Pro Tem.

Duraes/Killy – Passed unanimously.

MOTION: to appoint Dylan Duraes as Secretary Pro Tem.

Killy/Duraes – Passed unanimously.

MOTION: that an organization entitled “Libertarian Party of Northampton County” be formed.

Duraes/Killy – Passed unanimously.

MOTION: that those in attendance at this Organizational Meeting expressing a desire to be members of the Libertarian Party of Northampton County be asked to identify themselves & be designated as Founding Members.

Killy/Duraes – Passed unanimously.

Dylan Duraes, Patrick R. Killy & Dr. Tom Stevens identified themselves as wishing to be members of the Libertarian Party of Northampton County. Dr. Tom Stevens, Chairman Pro Tem, announced that pursuant to the motion passed, those individuals shall henceforth be known as the Founding Members of the Libertarian Party of Northampton County.

MOTION: to approve the proposed Libertarian Party of Northampton County bylaws. (Exhibit 1)

Killy/Duraes – Passed unanimously.

Dr. Tom Stevens, Chairman Pro Tem, asked for nominations for the officership positions set forth in the LPNC bylaws. Patrick R. Killy nominated the following individuals:

County Chair: Dr. Tom Stevens
First Vice-Chair: Patrick R. Killy
Treasurer: Dylan Duraes

There being no further nominations, a vote was taken and the nominated officers were elected unanimously.

MOTION: that the elected officers serve until the next Annual Meeting of the Libertarian Party of Northampton County.

Killy/Duraes – Passed unanimously.

MOTION: to adjourn.

Duraes/Killy – Passed unanimously.

The LPNC Organizational Meeting was adjourned at 10:22 p.m.
