David Jahn even wanted a list of BAD WORDS people would be forbidden to post, which I oppose. Given the current Communications Policy, though, your use of FUCK could be considered a violation as a RUDE WORD. These are the leaders of your LPPA!
Michelle's use of the word wasn't offensive, but we have others on this list who can border on vulgar. We also have spammers hitting this and every other forum in the world peddling their goods which can also be offensive. When people are exploring our party, the last thing they need to see is a forum loaded with personal attacks and vulgarity. We may also have school age children following this forum.
It shouldn't be that difficult for anyone to say what they want to say without violating the communications policy, which has been in place for perhaps eight years by the way.
For the record, I don't believe the board wanted anyone kicked off the site. At worst, offensive post would be removed or simply redacted, after which I expect the author of the offensive post would find another way to convey their point of view. There is no desire to censor ideas or criticism as long as they are presented with some semblance of decency.
I have learned to get by at both my home and work without using foul language. I believe we could communicate on this forum without it as well.
Now let's get to work testing the fences and see how Dr Tom does.
