When I type a new message or reply, after a paragraph or two, the line I am typing drops below view so the additional words I type are being typed blind.
How can I avoid this problem? It occurs even when I post and then try to modify what I wrote.

I get that issue every now and then too. Using IE8.

Same here. I try to keep my posts brief  But I agree, it's annoying. |

I never have that problem. If the message gets longer than the box there is a slide bar that appears to scroll the message.

I see the problem and it's VERY annoying. Yes, the scroll bar does appear and works normally as long as you don't type or edit anything, but the bottom part of the message immediately snaps back down out of view a soon as you type anything. Thereafter, each character you type pops up into view for about 17 milliseconds and then back down out of view. I'm using IE8.

So far IE8 is the only browser listed by those experiencing this problem. Is anyone else having this problem with a different browser?

Ok, I just updated the forum software to version 1.1.14. I'm hoping that clears up the IE8 issue. Please let me know if this problem continues for any of you.

Can you try setting your IE8 browser to work in compatibility view for this site and see if that makes a difference?

Actually Never mind I found a solution. I will have to make a change to the php for the template to deal with IE8.
