Any Lpers in Pleasant Hills interested in running for council with me, 3 seats up?

I am tiring to convince one of my fellow council members to join me in running as a LP candidate. I would like to get a third person on the ballot and try to win all three seats.

Great Idea!

Maybe get a registration list and hunt for LP voters... or perhaps our membership director could contact any members in the area.

As we are now an outlawed party we have to use political body paperwork. Doesn't that mean we would have to have a committee to fill vacancies in each area we want to run in? Or is that just a state wide thing? I ask because in 2009 the Greens ran a candidate for county council and he had no committee. It could just be that the Erie election office doesn't know what they are doing. It wouldn't be the first time.

In the municipal election years years, the county election offices pretty much run the show. Whatever they will accept goes. I have seen our county election office hand out the wrong forms to major party candidates in the past, though.
