They are doing anything to and everything to paint us as saboteurs and deviant spies trying to undermine the Republican efforts to save the country. I suppose we should just realize we are a bunch of frauds and paid operatives of the Democratic Party and fold up shop and go home.
lol... But I'm not going anywhere. I'm still on the ballot and I'm going to ENJOY this. Meeting a bunch of folks in Potter County on the 18th, and really looking forward to it. Also have a C-NET interview in late October that will be broadcast to the whole eastern part of my district (I live in the western half), including State College. 3000 brochures to the printer and a strong candidate Vance Mays to work with. Let incumbant Glenn Thompson tremble!
And their treachery wasn't complete. We still have breath, and we still have an important job to do. Eventually I'll find some true friends to work together in this, to build the LPPa into a growing forum based on mutual respect... and basic principles. Perhaps you; perhaps someone else reading this. In the end, it takes real people talking to other real people and winning their trust, one new friend at a time.
I've already found many in the LPPa with those qualities. There are individual cases, but some stand out. The strength of Lou and the Wilkes-Barre organization is phenomenal. Erik Viker is running a brilliant campaign that is making incredible inroads to his community. And Vance is a warhorse, confronting the Old Guard in every forum, and rightfully winning the common respect.
I'm very encouraged by the situation. And the shenanigans the R & D parties pulled this year may well be their Lexington.
