I mean seriously in 2008 we chose Bob Barr that was a huge mistake. I know the LP says its about the cost but why not have a privately funded campaigns... Anything is better then a mistake like that.

You are going to have to be clearer in your question. In what sense was the nomination a mistake? How was the campaign not privately funded? Who said it is about the cost?

Are you implying Barr was a good canidate? I would like to see members of the LP have more of a say on who the LP nominates.

It was members of the LP who nominated Bob Barr.  I'm not sure what you mean. What about Bob Barr didn't you like?
