2008 Tri-State Regional Convention: March 14-16

Libertarians from Pennsylvania, New Jersey & West Virginia will collaborate on a unique tri-state co-convention.

On March 14, 15 & 16 at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern, Pennsylvania three state chapters of the LP will come together at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center (www.desmondgv.com) in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania (LPPa), the New Jersey Libertarian Party (NJLP) and the Libertarian Party of West Virginia (LPWV) will collaborate to produce a first-of-its-kind event for the mid-atlantic region.

The event location, west of Philadelphia, offers easy access via the Pennsylvania Turnpike, the Schuylkill  Expressway or Rt 202. The hotel facility was selected for it's high quality accommodations, great food and state-of-the-art technology.

This convention will be of particular importance, as we prepare for the 2008 elections. So far, eight Libertarian Presidential candidates confirmed to attend. Each contender for the party's nomination will have an opportunity to address the convention attendees with a short presentation and then come together for an exciting debate. This will be an excellent opportunity to evaluate these presidential hopefuls prior to the national convention in Denver. Libertarians from all states are invited to attend.

This unique co-convention will provide great opportunities for collaboration with our regional allies. In addition to the presidential debate, a wide range of workshops, speakers and social events are scheduled. Our members are sure to be informed and inspired. Important party business and officer elections will also take place, so don't miss it.

In addition to the regular convention activities, members are invited to attend the legendary Montgomery County Hospitality Suite on Friday & Saturday nights.
