I'm passing this along to any Libertarian who might be interested in representing the LP in this discussion/debate at the University of Pa.  If you are, please contact me or Dave Jahn (chair@lppa.org).  I'd like to let Mr. Dogariu know as soon as possible who can step forward.

Although I can't attend, an audience with Libertarians can only help to bolster the message of prohibiting the government from making the decisions only a business owner has the right to make.  This sounds like a great opportunity to inspire students to activism.

Subject: discussion invitation / request

Dear Mr. Keslar,

My name is Alex Dogariu, a student at UPenn and a member of Penn Forum, a non-biased organization devoted to promoting debate and discussion on campus.  We provide a forum where speakers from different sides of issues can express both of their views on a wide array of political, social, and philosophical topics.

On Tuesday, Feb. 22nd (at 7pm) we are having one such debate on the newly proposed Pennsylvania Smoking Ban. We wanted to know if one of your members would be interested in representing the Libertarian view point on this important issue. We would love to have you or another of your members participate.

Please let me know if anyone would be able to join us for this.

Thank you in advance,

Alex Dogariu

They must have sent this to every party officer.

I passed this opportunity on to Joe and Phil in Philadelphia yesterday to see if they want to represent us at this event.  I'm hoping we will hear back from them soon.
