I don't think there is any question the $700 billion bailout was a bad idea. I did enjoy watching the addition of $150 billion or so in pork barrel projects turn this from a crummy bailout into an urgent rescue package.
This is going to end up costing much, much more. Everyone realizes that, don't they?
