The TSA reached a mind-boggling new low in customer service this week when it was revealed that one agent had single-handedly absconded with over $200,000 worth of travelers' belongings, primarily cameras and laptops, and proceeded to unload his booty on eBay. His latest haul: A near-$50,000 camera that an HBO employee had been traveling with.

With $200,000 worth of stuff taken, it's the TSA employees that need to be screened and searched!

This guy might be at the higher end of the theft scale, but there have to be others.  This kind of government job has to attract crooks.

It also wouldn't surprise me if there were terrorists cells hiding-out while moonlighting in the TSA.

Maybe if the TSA were all subject to prevailing wage laws we would all be better off. Pay them all a living wage and provide medical care for them and they would attract higher quality people. Wait a minute, that means we are not equal.

OK, increase the taxes on the living wage to redistribute the wealth to those less fortunate.  Better yet, give the TSA jobs to those less fortunate.

Wait a minute, has somebody already thought of this?
