I am going to start a question and answer session here about the forum.  There are some features and access points I am not familiar.

Q - Joining the forum with a User and Password entitles you to what?  Are there areas of the forum that are only for members of the LPPA?

Q - if you are a member of the LPPA and paid your $15 Membership dues, what additional access to the forum do you get, if any?  Is there a "members only" section on the forum that a non-paying member of the party is not privy to?

Barry,

I guess the best place to begin would be with the admins for the site.  Anyone know who they are?

Barry if you look under your name, on the right hand side of the page, where your picture is, you will see "smf LPPA Members"

smf_lppa_members is a member group for dues paying members.

Regular members who just happen by the site and sign up have somewhat limited access.  Regular members are essentially guest.  They have access to around 29 boards that they can view and participate in.  In contrast, smf_lppa_members have access to something like 68 boards.

smf_lppa_members also have permissions beyond regular members.  smf_lppa_members can view forum statistics, view the memberlist, member profiles and create and edit calendar events.

Of course, it is challenging trying to stay on top of current members.  It takes work to cross reference the email addresses of folks who register with the forum.  So, please speak up if you believe your permissions need changed.

I'll try to post tips from time to time on the various features we can find on the forum.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

So one gets the coveted "smf LPPa Member" designation if they pay $15.  What if you're a contributor to ballot access and/or that 1787 Society thing?  I'm sure there are lots of "newbies" who kicked in more than $15 for different things.

The rewards for donations over $15 go beyond forum access and permissions.  Words cannot describe the sense of accomplishment and purpose associated with more significant donations. The benefits derived from such dedication to liberty may even extend into the next life.
