Me?  My real name is Larry, hehe.  I live in Northampton.

Looks like its just us.  However, I'm still a Republican, but I find it very important to bring Libertarian ideals back to the party.  I really respect many of the ideas Libertarians stand for. 

I'm from Bethlehem.  I thought I was a registered Republican until I went to vote in the primary and they said I was independent.
I've been leaning Libertarian more and more.
I'm getting married to a Democrat. 

I am most definitely dedicated toward freedom.  There are many problems which have been exacerbated by government interference while at the same time destroying individual freedom.  That being said, this is a make it or break it election.  The hard left of the Democratic Party is completely running their show and Obama is the most Marxist candidate to have ever won the nomination of either party.  Every about his is big government, high taxes, anti-Second amendment, and government take over of individuals and  corporations.  There are problems in the Republican party, no doubt, and the change we need is the movement back towards the limited government that our founders envisioned while at the same time providing a very strong national defense that can combat the forces that seek to destroy our way of life, and these threats are very real.  There is a right way to go about this and it is not being truly followed.  The same can be said of our energy policy.  A hybrid of domestic production and not allowing ourselves to be hijacked by environmental extremism that is destroying our economy is the correct path.  Long term, yes, we should be developing alternative sources of energy such as nuclear, biodeisel, sewage conversion, etc.  The farm and ethanol bills that both parties rammed down our throats at the demand of the left wing lunatics, spearheaded by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, have resulted in skyrocketing food and fuel costs and threatens everyone.  The pork is out of control, etc.  We really need to start looking outside of parties, and believe me, there are Libertarians that I support for election.  Rep. Young from Alaska is someone from the Republicans that needs to go, Cochran, etc.  I am very pleased from what I am learning about the Liberatarian Party and I think the message is great.  Also, I'll reiterate I'm out in Easton.  Perhaps I can set up and email for us to use as point of contact, etc.

Again, I'm still a registered Republican and I want to help reform the party to bring it back to its roots but I"m not a Ron Paul Republican.  On the political spectrum, I'm almost spot even balanced between Conservative and Libertarian.  I'd be more than willing to write submissions for the newsletter, however, I wanted to state this so I could be as forthcoming as possible and to explain myself.  I do believe though, that the grassroots efforts and respectful nature of everyone I have talked with in the Libertarian Party has been great. I really appreciate being able to discuss very important issues in a very adult, intellectual manner.  If that is still ok, I'll be in contact with you.
