Chair's Report-
1. We must nominate a new board at the October meeting at Ritter's.
2. Dec. 21st may be too close to Christmas for the Holiday Party.
3. I am not seeking a board position in 2006 but I will remain active.
4. We should strongly consider increasing the number of at large board members while holding quorum requirements constant some time in 2006.
5. Libertarian Of The Week goes to all involved in the Pitt/CMU Lib effort.
Treasurer's Report.
Outreach Report-
1. Pitt/CMU event summary. We need an article for LibPenn and LP News.
2. CATO's letter can still be sent to people, so we should brainstorm a list.
(how about to OCS candidates, Pgh City council and municipal councils?)
3. Keystone Quiz. Make copies, use it like the Nolan Quiz.
4. I'm no fan of Cindy Sheehan, but we could have been the ones to ask her to come to Pgh.
Technology Report- 1. Demonstrate Rauterkus phone system.
2. Switching lppgh.org from Pair.com to GoDaddy.com (Johannes)
3. What is the status of our phone number?

Elections Report. 1. Did we find anyone to run by the Sept 19th Filing Deadline for special elections for County Council.? Did we at least ask five people to run?

State Party Report. 1. Chair Dave Jahn has prioritized a list of LPPa activities for the next year. The top priorities are to fully staff the LPPa board, to recruit volunteers to assist the Committee Chairs, outreach activities, reducing ballot access requirements, and so on. Please consider volunteering to be on one of the committees.
2. Clarion has become an A county.
3. Badnarik spoke at Harrisburg and Montgomery County.
4. LibPenn is asking for new articles for the October edition. Contact Ken Crippen, the new LibPenn Editor

1. The military draft shall not be reinstituted in Pa.
2. Government should not control radio, TV, the press or the internet.

1. Pa. Business and farms should operate without state subsidies, and excessive regulations on Pa. businesses should be repealed.
2. The Pa. Turnpike Commission, Milk Marketing Board and State Liquor Control Boards shall be phased out as quickly as possible.
3. Minimum wage laws cause unemployment. Repeal them in Pa..
4. Gov Ed Rendell's 33% state income tax increase should be repealed.
5. Pa. landowners shall be free from eminent domain land grabs where their private property is transferred by the courts to another private entity.
