Title: Re: Is Your Touchscreen Voting Machine Safe from Fraud? Post by: mark.d.crowley on October 09, 2008, 11:46:37 am From ACORN? I'm not sure. Isn't the VotePA goal is to make sure your vote is counted by having proper safeguards for counting and verifying that vote? Isn't the ACORN goal to have its members vote multiple times to make sure that at least one of them is counted?
Sarcasm aside, if you want an argument against affirmative action imagine the consequences of applying it to elections where identified groups get by force of law -- multiple votes per person each election, larger contribution limits, more letters in papers, more call-in lines for talk shows, different registration deadlines, public funding for group-backed candidates, the ability to sign and be counted on the same ballot access petition more than once, counting votes that are cast after election day, etc. Title: Re: Is Your Touchscreen Voting Machine Safe from Fraud? Post by: johngalinac on October 09, 2008, 12:01:52 pm Just trying to point out how real a threat voter fraud is. But yes, I agree with you. Dark days lie ahead. Although we may not have to worry any of this with the impending worldwide economic collapse.
