Title: Please Write Letters Supporting the Barr/Root Campaign Post by: mark.d.crowley on August 11, 2008, 05:20:37 am Dear Fellow Libertarians,
Please take time to write letters to the editors of your local newspapers – small or large - on the campaign of Bob Barr and Wayne Root, or on a pertinent issue which includes their names. Letters to editors can help win the name recognition for the ticket of Barr for President and Root for Vice President, which as you know is so essential to doing well in elections. In addition, op-ed pieces with a main theme of the Bob Barr and Wayne Root campaign, or on your favorite issue which mentions their names, can also help. I’ve found promoting Bob Barr and Wayne Root as credible advocates of the fundamental principles of American government, with very necessary ideas and policies for the future at a time when so much is going wrong with government, has worked well. Perhaps you could use this to create a compelling letter to your local newspaper, or visit www.bobbarr2008.com for other ideas. I’m positive each of you can find your own reasons for letters or op-eds that are successful and make their way into newspapers. Thank you very much! Sincerely, David Eberhart Pennsylvania State Coordinator for Barr/Root 2008 Title: Re: Please Write Letters Supporting the Barr/Root Campaign Post by: bdively on October 11, 2008, 01:58:55 pm Well, It happened. As some of you know, when asked for my home address when i sign up for things or for shipping when purchasing items (usually online), I always include on the second line for address they give you, I put Libertarian Party of PA. An example would be:
Barry Dively LIBERTARIAN PARTY of PA 115 Eastwood Drive Harrisburg, PA 17101 Well, yesterday I got a blu-tooth from a company and on the reciept someone wrote, "Go Bob Barr"!!! So cool. I encourage all of you to do this. It's quick, easy and sorta fun. Imagine the numbers if times and number of people who will see LIBERTARIAN PARTY of PA in your lifetime as this goes on mailing lists and number of postal employees alone. What say you?
