Title: Bob Barr Keynote Speaker at Freedom 21 Conference
Post by: mark.d.crowley on June 24, 2008, 06:15:40 pm
FYI, Bob Barr will give the keynote address at an upcoming conservative (and mildly libertarian) conference.  Also there will be the Constitution Party candidate.  It’s all in the announcement below.

I’m not sure what Barr will say to this audience, but if he simply reminds people that the War on Drugs is just another failed government program like so many other ones, that will meet my expectation.  If he goes into the unintended consequences, he might even win a few over.

I think he’s giving the keynote address more because he’s Bob Barr than because he’s our presidential candidate.  I’m hopeful he’ll make the most of this opportunity.

Mark

PS – It also says that PA state representative Sam Rohrer (sponsor of PA House bill H.B. 1351 oppposing REAL ID) will be a speaker.  It's in Texas, so I wonder if Badnarik will show.
