Has anyone started rallying the local Ron Paul supporters to our cause? They would certainly put you above and beyond the numbers required for your ballot petition. I use an online service called Meet up, where you can meet people with common interests. There are a lot of Ron Paul Meet up groups in Pennsylvania, http://www.meetup.com/search/?keywords=Ron+Paul&jsCountry=us . 152 days is not much time.

Three quick things.   

1.  There were/are a lot of libertarians in the RP meet-ups, many were the organizers of them.   I was part of one that had over 200 members and i would say an 1/8th were active in the LP, the organizer was a registered Libertarian. 

2.   We have seen some RP supporters wanting to become active with the LP, especially after the Glenn Beck Interview

3.   I caution everyone to keep the RP Movement and the LP separate.  Be part of both, but only support the group you are currently with.  IE Don't go to a Ron Paul Meet-up and market Libertarianism OR go to the LP Meeting and Promote Ron Paul.  There are many who feel (not me, but I have met them) that see individuals only joining groups to siphon off new activist.  Just be careful, there is a dichotomy there.   

If Ron Paul decides to do something, and it seems unclear that he will decide before the Republican Convention, then his people will be looking for signatures. All I'm suggesting is to get signatures on our petition even if they do not join us in any other way. If we get only half of Ron Paul's people to sign we will have no problem getting on the ballot.

I think that it needs to be clear that signing a petition is not a commitment to vote for our party in November, but an endorsement of the right to have us as a choice on the ballot.

If I am driving around and I see two houses with campaign signs out front. One for RP and one for Obama. I am stopping at both. Why? Because I can be reasonably assured that someone in that house is registered to vote. The RP houses usually require less discussion to get the signature though.
